hey guys,
I am currently wrecking an ea s pack and thought today about pulling the seats out and have a go at fitting them into my xf. I was just wondering if anyone has ever had a go at putting the boxcar seats into an xf and if there is anything involved?

don't quote me but I thought you could change the rails on the front seats but the rear I have no idea.

Are you fitting the seats to an XF sedan? Or is it a late model XF ute? The later model utes used the EA-style floorpan - seat mounting design. AFAIK you can remove the EA-ED seat runners and fit the XF ones to the seats. Rear seats, just suck it and see. Give it a try and see what happens.

I was talking with a mate today about fitting EB Xr8 seats into his XE falcon. We had a look at the runners on the EB seat, they seem to be able to unbolt, but not without some effort. We were thinking we could unbolt the rails from the frame, then bolt on XE rails. We didn't have XE rails to look at tho...
As for the rear seat, the EA is a split fold - what's the Xf have? I really don't remember what they are like. Cheers ToranaGuy
