is EA - EF carpet interchangeable? I thought they had different floor pans around the front seat area?

The sedans would be different, not sure of wagons? Presuming they use different seat mounting points theyd need to be different!

He posted up possibly the worst / most useless pic possible lol.

Given it's brown, I'd say EF/EL...but it doesn't look factory - the drivers foot pad is square when all factory ones were round-ish...it could be from EA-ED possibly (?)...but I don't recall any cappucino EA-ED's - can anyone shed any light on this ?

yeah it is a s**t pic

also a s**t title. I can't tell if its for a EA or a EF. No cappucino EA-ED's. Although some EA's came with a yukky brown trim. I know EL's have a different floor pan, but i found it interesting how he stated EA-EF and not EA-EL... :? I just got thinking that mabey EF's had the same floor pan as EA-ED's....

The floor pans are largely similar from EA-EL...it is just the front seat mounting points...but even that is not a huge issue to overcome.

It would be one of those aftermarket jobs.

The front half of the floorpans were pretty much identical, and that piece would reach from the firewall to under the middle of the front seat, so it would fit any EA to EL.

But yeah, in the end, the pic is crap, same with the colour, and it wouldnt match factory at all... :?

The biggest differences besides what has be said is the air con ducts are below the carpet on EF/EL not under the center consul EA/ED so the carpet sits quite a bit higher in the EF/EL in the center
