I don't have any photos and I did my EAs about 8 years ago so this is straining my memory.

IIRC I had the rear ones at the bottom rear of the door, where the factory ones are located in the smartlock vehicles. I am pretty sure one of the mounting holes I used was already there for the factory actuators.

Again this is a long time ago but thats what I remember.

I did this to my first car (EA S pack). I put the actuator directly underneath the door lock and drilled a hole big enogh in the 45deg section on the door (can't find a better description) and ran a custom made rod to the door lock. The rods in the pack werent long enough. Then i connected the system to a remote immobiliser and presto, remote DIY central locking.

we got a kit from Strathfield and installed it in my brother's EA S pack falcon a few years ago, and just wired it up to the boot release, as that always has constant power to it. That was a basic centrasl locking kit, we didn't go as far as a remote though.

Drill new holes. my experience with "after market" is that they're tempramental and need a good straight action.
