Hi Guys.

Having problems with Climate Control. Cannot get cold air coming out of face vents when A/C is on. Air comes out warm. Only way to get cold air is to have set to face and feet. Very annoying considering hot weather lately.

Just wondering also if there is diagnostic modes for CC to check for faults.

When going up hills or accelerating air is directed to windscreen.

Thanks. :D

Hope this helps:

To get the self test:

1. Ensure engine is warm
2. Turn the ignition switch to 'on'
3. Press the floor and off buttons at once & release
4. Entire display will light up
5. The display will show 88.8 during the self test
6. When the self test is complete, and if the system checks are ok the display will read OFF (EA) or it will blank (EB2/ED). If there is a fault, it will read 'E' and a number 1 through 7.
7. Rectify the problem then clear the self test memory by initiating the self test twice. To exit the self test and restart the system, push the auto button. Test should be deactivated before shutting the system off.

Error Codes - Condition Detected - Default Value - Comment

E1 - Electronic Control Unit - Faulty Electronic control unit - RAM air to screen - Replace unit
E2 - Blend Door Servo Motor - Movement of blend door out of range - Poor temperature modulation - Check if motor disconnected, door movement obstructed or incorrect wiring
E3 - Cabin Sensor - Open circuit - Set point directly controls thermal control value - Check for disconnected cabin sensor
E4 - Solar sensor - Short circuit - No sunload compensation - Check for short in wiring or sensor
E5 - Ambient sensor - Open circuit - Assumes ambient is 20.C - Check for disconnected sensor
E6 - Evaporator Sensor - Open circuit - A/C clutch does not engage - Check for disconnected sensor
E7 - Engine sensor - Short circuit - Assumes hot engine, i.e 93.C - Check for short in wiring or sensor

Press auto button to obtain next error code or to exit self test.
:D
