I have an Eb 1 Fairmont the radiator warning light stays on and the doors light does not appear to be working also there is some type of audible beep sound, I'm guessing the rad light is a faulty switch not to sure about the rest. Any tips appreciated.

If the car has water in the reservoir then the coolant light may be the sensor located in the bottom of the reservoir bottle. The door light problem is probably the sensor button located in the front of where the door closes. It is just held in with 2 screws, just replace. The only beeping sound I can think of is the annoying beep from the trip computer when fuel gets below 80kms left. Press the reset button to get rid of that. Hope this is helpful.

I just found the owners manual and you are correct the beep can be from either low fuel or also one of the critical malfunction warning lamps are activated, or when lights have been left on after ignition is switched off. The reservoir tank is full so I'll check the sensor. Still not sure about the door ajar warning it doesn't light up at all on the dash. Maybe something amiss behind the dash.

Must be digital, because its the only EA-ED cluster to have a door ajar light.
