Fpr $500, Darren is doing the righty!

I got mine off ebay about 6 months ago and it cost me just over $500!

keep an eye on ebay and you might even get one cheaper still, but I think they are getting pretty frickin' rare!

Cheers,

Mate,
I also have a ED Sprint with a ED Fairmont wheel on it. I have been doing some research on this issue. Here is what I found.
The Origanal ED Sprint wheel is a Momo Olympic 2000 wheel. Momo do not have them any more. I think the EB had wood grain section and not all leather. I may be wrong on that score.
Momo (Roman Autoteck) do have the same wheel but with wood grain and not leather.
The wheel it self is the same for criuse control and with no CC.
The only difference is the centre pad.
The oringal Ford Part numbers are
EDTVE3600A Stearing Wheel
EDTVE13A820B Hub (Centre)
You can still buy the center pad from momo with or with out criuse control.
the pad does not come with the buttons. (around $200 as at 12/3/05)
You can still buy the buttons for the momo from Ford (momo do not have them) Ford have 6 pairs in stock (As at 12/3/2005) The buttons are the same as the fairmont wheel (physicaly) the only diff being that the words are on an angle.
You will also need the boss to fit the wheel to the Falcon stearing colum this is approx $50 from momo.
I purchased a non CC wheel off ebay last night for $375.
I have the buttons from Ford $75 each (you need 2)
Now I just need the pad from mom and I am done and the Sprint will have the right wheel on it.

So just to summarise.
The wheel it self is no longer available from Ford or Momo - Keep an eye on ebay etc.
The centre is available from momo and not ford (with or with out cc)
The boss is available from Momo
The buttons are available from Ford only (low numbers in stock)
Will update you once I have it installed.... 8-)

OK here is the update.
Sprint wheel from Ebay non CC $375
Boss for wheel from Ebay $65 (still available from Momo - $80)
Centre pad with CC (Roman Autoteck say you can not get the CC ones any more but have bought some non CC ones in to Aust and have modified them for CC. I bought one today for $50 is perfect)
Buttons from Ford $75 each x2
Fitted to the car today withg some messing aronud with wiring to get working as not all glugs were correct (due to non CC centre and wheel) now have working perfectly.
All up $635 and I have a very nice looking wheel installed as it should be...

Wow, so it is possible, bit of work though. i was originally looking on ebay but found nothing, i don't got much free time, between uni and work, so i've probably missed some that were up for sale... Still what you did was really cleaver, so big pat on the back for that one, it must look really great now that it is fitted, and it will help your sprint to retain maximum re-sale value.

I'm now considering doing what you did for myself, i'd better hurry though... with Ford only having 6 sets of buttons left in stock. Thanks for the post. Let me know if you have any more tips or comments.

Cheers,

Kenezevic.

Kenezevic.
Mate no problem.
If you have $140 bucks to spare I would buy a set of buttons now just in case you find a wheel later as the centre can always be modified. Even if you give up on the idea you will get your $$ back on the buttons if you want to sell them later. Cos once they are all gone. That is it.. Their GONE...

If yo want the part numbers I have them.
They are
EDTVE9C888A (speed switch CTRL)
EDTVE9C889A (Speed switch ctrl LH)
$68 each
