I am converting my xf ute to fuel injection from an eb sedan donor car. Was wondering if the instrument cluster will fit into xf dash or will i have to put the eb dash into it. If so is it even possible to put an eb dash into xf ute. I not overly knowledgable on makin a bitsa car but figured would look better with e series cluster and make things a little easier on the wiring side of things too. Any help would be muchly appreciated thanks

EB Cluster into XF = Easy - use the cluster adapter bracket from an XG Ute.

EB Dash into XF - it fits, but it doesnt have demister vents. Cut the demister vents off your XF Dash and mount appropriately. With the EB Dash you may have trouble getting the dash vent pipe to squash up enough to fit the demister equipment - Im doing this at the moment.

EF Dash into XF - same as EB, except that the fitting for the drivers vent comes from a round outlet, and I hear of people using flexible pipe to pipe air across and fit the Demister vents.

Wiring is up to you. Im using a DC LTD Wiring Harness and associated bits.
