The odometer and trip meter in mine has stopped working. I just want to know, what is the easiest way fix that?? Everything else is working fine.
Would it be easier to purchase a replacement?? If so, how much $$$ would I be looking at to get one with about 280,000 on it (roughly what the car has done, the odometer is stuck at ~263,000 and has been for 2 months). If I need a replacement, would I need to get one with the smart lock light, as the car is an EB2 "S"
Any help/advice would be appreciated
Chris.

hi
sounds like the small plastic gear in cluster has striped its a common thing
if your willing to pull cluster apart you can replace it with a second hand one..
but you may have to go to pick and payless or any pick and pull wrecker and pull apart a cluster to get one.. i dont know if you can get them new??

and the std gl cluster speedo has the same gear...

Hey chongbonger, how did you get your dash cluster to say "SPEEDO"?

That looks trippy to me. Can it be done for the high series dash?

That is the calibration feature that is supposedly found only on the chaser clusters. For some wierd reason, My low series cluster has it in there. We were discussing it ages ago on here....

If you want to try it, you hole the trip meter reset button for 10 seconds, while the engine is running.

Does anyone have a rough idea of how much $$$ I would be looking at to get a replacement EB2 S cluster with about 280,000 on it?? I cant be f**k pulling this one apart.
