i have an eb wagon series1 and the tailgate cannot be locked can someone help. The car does not have smartlock.
i have changed the actuator. Any ideas would be great.

So when you push the dash button, the actuator is not locking or unlocking?

I would be checking the loom at several points, and applying 12v+ to the actuator to ensure that it is working. Then check the mechanical connections from the actuator to the lock.

If the actuator is working you need to find where in the loom there is a short, as it must not be getting the required signal from the dash switch.
