so in one of my other topics i asked the question on wether on not i can do a blue led dash conversion on my ed. i was told no.

apparently the dials themselves are painted orange, so it would give a green sh*t color.

has anyone got any ideas on what i could do to rectify that? maybe an old ef dials (compatibility?)...

you can get white dials from ssv.com.au, or sometimes on ebay

unfortunatetly there isnt much around.

I say you can do it and the blue looks like a strong LED blue.

Have done most of it in my car using the 3LED-to-a-glode setup from autobarn at $7 a globe. Using 4 globes in the std holes at the moment and plan to put another 2 in to finish it off. Will show you the photos in a week or two and you can decide for yourself.

This is what it looks like in the light for starters.

ltdho, looks pretty sweet man. what about the actualy dials though, besides the lcd displays? are they still typically blue?

petED, your car is almost exactly the same as mine! love it. will look forward to more pics from your direction, would really help me in deciding. what did u use to paint the needles bone white?

might have a look on ssv.com.au...or ebay.
