And as for extra gauges, there is only so much room on a falcon dash. I dont really want to mount any o the pillar or bonnet and the budget only extends so far. Saying that if I can find a way of cramming another 4 or 5 in I will.
The A/F gauges are great eh? Very interesting watching EEC and the oxy sensors do their thang. Howsabout a cylinder head temp? If the boost gauge is going in there's all sort of funky gauges to go with it... fuel pressure (ones for use inside the cabin are mega $$$$$$$$).... wideband oxy.... So what colour they all light up at night? The blue/green?

{USERNAME} wrote: wheres the shift light lol its umm different mate thats for sure Well I dont really need a shift light as its auto (you should know that you sold me the box remember ). Ive since installed the indicator and high beam lights and repainted the backing matt black (looks heaps better now). Still cant get the speedo to work though. Ill just wait till I get the EMS 8860 in and drive it off that.

{USERNAME} wrote: Is it expensive getting it coated in carbon fibre? I dont think so but some may disagree. It cost $600 to get the following done. Cluster surround, centre A/C vent surround, stereo surround, T bar surround, steering column shroud and the little black surrounds that hold the boot release and door lock buttons. Oh and also the 3 angled bezzles for the gauges in the centre. Considering they clean and sand smooth all parts, then coat them and spray on 2 coats of clear for protection I think its good value. Its the same process that the wood grain finish is applied to "prestige" models. The website is www.modicoat.com.au
