I was wondering if anyone can help me? can an ef fairmont ghia interior (door trims, seats) fit in to an ED? and if so can i see some pics and get the know how? thanks.

the ef seats don`t fit in, you would need to modify the floor pan or the seat to make it fit.

i think you need a safety certificate or engineers certificate if you modify the seats.

door trims fit straight up. Back seat fits up as well (IIRC). the front EF seats can be retro fitted to ED seat rails so they can fit up to the ED floor. (which is slightly different to EF floor)

you dont have to modify anything. all you need is a longer bolt for rear bracket closest to the centre console with maybe some steel or aluminium tubing to cover the bolt thread and the job is done. not sure with it being legal or not (maybe thats where modifying the rails comes in) but i did that to my old eb which i put ef xr seats in. the rear seat is a straight swap.
