I need help I have just installed a ED trip computer in my ED XR6 I have followed the post on how to install it with which wire goes where.
It is showing, 0 distance to empty, 99 inst L/100km, 99.9 avge L/100km, 0 avge km
what is going on
Please Help ASAP

Sounds like you got the wiring wrong...

To not show the fuel consumption the data wire isn't right going to the computer...

To not show avg km/hr sounds like speedo input is missing...

And distance to empty should be worked out on a combination of the fuel sender resistance and the data wire... Because the above indicates that the data signal is missing, there is a fair chance this is why this isn't working also...

Best double check where you've picked these inputs up from...

Thanks for the help I disconnected the battery and I have reconnected it I now have K/M TILL EMPTY,
AVGE K/M is 0, AVGE L/KM is still 99, INST K/M is 99.9
( I have not driven car yet but I have started it and let it idle for a minute also )

it wont give you any averages until you actually drive the car...
