can i use the passenger seat somehow to replace the drivers seat? as the side of the seat has worn thru and i have a spare passenger seat sitting there.
will i have to cut and weld the drivers rails on the passenger seat or does it all just unbolt so i can put the passenger seat on the driver base?

That will be a problem... all your seat adjustment controls will be in on the wrong side.

I am pretty sure you can pull the seats apart and should be able to just swap the bolsters over (assuming the bolsters are the bits that have worn out!!)
