The Central locking on my Fairmont has never worked properly. It will lock itself every time you start the car and on occasion unlock when I arm my alarm. It's always been like this.

Last weekend I disconnected the front speakers, ran new wires and installed components and now the central locking does an lock/unlock cycle a million times. I've tried dis-connecting the passengers front door and it still does it so i reconnected that one and disconnected the drivers but it does it still....

Where to from here? I thought I read somewhere the central locking is somehow connected to the stereo but I'm not sure (the car came with an aftermarket Sony CD player.
