In FM1 there was a doco re adding LEDs into chrome handles. Question is can anyone give me instructions or point me to where this doo is?

New: $200 for the 4 from ford; so yer $50 each last i heard.
Call around many will do it cheaper.
Also wreckers would be cheaper again, but its often VERY hard to foind the handles *without* the trims..
Just get new, so tight, shiney and polished, nicer than old worn out ones.

My mate picked up a set from the wreckers for 60$ and mine was $15.

EDIT: They actualyl tried to tell me taht it came from the rear of the Fairmont Ghia thereofre they would have to charge me more. That worked until I burst put laughing and told them no.

When I say gettiong the trim I neab they (the wrecker) usually dont wish to seperate the door trim from the handles themselves.

Its not hard to do the LED mod, neo nick has done it to his and my cars; the LED needs to sit in the top of the handle, closest to the corner that would (when fitted in the car) be towards the front end; if that makes no sense, im talking about the side of the handle that opens up, not where the hinge is.
Just drill a hloe wide enough for it and glue it in place with a hot glue gun!
Wire it up to the door lamps n ur set.
