Does anyone have a copy of the factory colours for the Vacuum stuff?
I moved the dash back today to check the Blend Servo, put it together and suddenly realised that one black vacuum line isnt connected. Nothing isnt working, hence me not being able to figure out whats not connected and find the vaccuum line. Ive already tried fishing for it : Just trying to avoid pulling the dash back apart. Could it be the Vacuum resevoir? - if so, where is the resevoir located? Thanks Nigel |

The vaccy tank and engine vacuum meet at a T piece, then go into the back of the hose connector white plug. From the front of that plug, it goes to the vaccy solenoid unit. These are all black lines.
With the glovebox lid out, you should be able to sort it out. The sniffer has it's own vacuum source from the engine bay, so if it was unplugged, the system would still work. It's also covered in foam usually. You can test the BDM for operation and feedback resistance from the dash unit plugs, before pulling the dash. You should be able to see the vaccy solenoid with a torch - my guess the black line is off.
