Hey everyone. I am contemplating installing an ef dash and centre console into my eb fairmont. I have a couple of questions that i hope someone can help me with.

Do I need an EF/EL ecu to run the EF instrument cluster? Or can I just mod the wiring harness with my EB one? (and if i need to use el ecu, can it still run my normal mpfi manifold? or do i need to put a bbm on there too?)

As I would need to change the handbrake - can I just get an ef handbrake and cable and install it into my EB?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

yup you can do them all think u might need an el ecu, you would be bettor off doing it with the bbm manifold anyway. you can do el climate control as well, basically if u get the woring and everything u can put anthing out of an el into an eb ed etc

Or you could buy an EL :-) We spent 6 months converting EB -> EL.......never again! Was pretty cool to be able to say you've seen it done though :-)
