Hey guys,
I noticed while I was driving home from work this morning that when I put my headlights on the dash lights and clock dim, The cd player and everything stay fine, its only the odometer and dash lights that dim. On accesesories battery, airbag, seatbelt, all stay bright, and just the odometer and other dashlights and the clock goes dim.. Any idea's? The battery is about 15months old, although I checked the water levels and they are a bit low, And the alternator was only replaced around 6-8months ago.. Thanks, ...once again rob... |

They are meant to dim when you put your headlights on.
The idea being that during the day they need to be brighter to stand out wheras at night the cabin is sufficiently dark for them to be seen at a lesser birightness. Also, they would probably be too distracting at night at the "lights off" daytime setting.
