in my 94EF i have a triangled shape blank that has a 4 pin plug on the back, is this for a digital clock or a trip computer?

As i have just done a deal to get a trip computer from a forum member!

Thats for the Clock, you can fit a clock its plug and play for most E series models. Installing the Trip computer requires you to add a few more wires, check out the doco section as there is a document for this!!

Btw. In future it might pay to check out the doco section before asking questions...

yes mate it is. the fairmonts have the trip com.and the std ef has a clock if youre's is a std one a clock will plug straight in. you might have to do a bit more wireing for trip com

Yes i did ya ugly mug, i just started reading up on it and saw that it was sposed to be a clock standard so i thought i better ask!
