I'm thinking if putting a EF-EL console into my ED. Firstly, Would it fit without too many mods or new holes being drilled? Also, Has anyone got pics of what it would look like please?
Thanks.

AFAIK the interior mountings are the same but I may be wrong...
Head to the wreckers and have a play.

I'll leave the handbrake as is. I wonder if the Auto/Economy switch on the EF-EL console uses the same plug as the ED switch?

I think you'll find less modding and a better fit using an AU ctr console.

I don't think it'll flow particularly nicely and an AU one would probably look better, but if you do want one, I've got a complete EL console you can have for $40.
