Okay this thread was in the wrong place so it seems an l neva knew
so who ever saw the original sight an was wanting to know the outcome of fitting the oil an amps gauges to the standard el cluster an adding the resistors etc etc an me finding out that they were already there an just had to solder in 6 metal clips for the posts on the gaauges to slot into an stay there. well go to youtube an type in 351p6clone an you should see the vids lve done on the proccess. unfortunately l cant remeber squat on what was said but heres the pics or go to http://photobucket.com/351p6replica there you wil find a folder called ef el cluster in a sub folder . sorry but its the best l can do atm an to those who are interested in if it works well it may when l change over the oil switch on the block to the other. which 1 it is cant remember so if anybody knows what part lm to swap as l fitting oil gauge to cluster be great

OK to whom ever it was that said dont use ef needles on my cluster asit looks like crud an l agree well how do these look painted in red then? just gotta find a 6 gauge cover now an still gotta find out where to get proper gauges for it as lm saving my self a heap of money doing these mods instead of buyin so called police cluster which is no diff to my xr6/8 cluster thats got blue led in it an carbon fibre look to the dials. Proper police 1s the speedo went up to 240km an had a slightly diff looking taco. Lve seen 1 an wouldnt mind but happier with these

Do the EF-EL dash clusters require a special type of globe? If so has anyone got some spares for sale?

hey there, the ef el ones are a t5 as well as au and the ea to ed are a t10! if your wanting to replace them, why not go smd? i have a store and sell replacements in red gren purple blue and white for 15 dollars a set of 10! let me know if your interested as they really do look better then the factory globes. i have been playing around with ford and holden clusters for 9 yrs and know my way around em pretty well now
