As it says, Trip computer is working but the clock keeps flashing with the time and the SET comand but I cant do anything. I have pulled it out cleaned contacts and put back in but no good. Any one got any ideas.

You can't do anything?

Obviously you've held the 2 buttons down to set the time yeh?

If it wakes up (as you said it does) it should work. otherwise its got a software issue if all the buttons respond.

You have to set the clock, it's something screwy to set the time.
Try holding down reset then press down search and then let go of the buttons, it's something screwy though.
Anybody got the owners manual handy?

Took me ages until found a spare one down the wreckers, to work it out.

Sorry guys should have explained a bit more. Been through all that, I have set the clock heaps of times before but now it isn't responding when I follow the reset procedure, its like the buttons are not working but they work for the trip computer.
