Here is a photo of my EL Ghia Cuppa Interior (full leather) (not MY photo, but a photo released by ford)

your EF 1 seats are looking like the ones I have to put in and need to be redone. Are you going full leather in yours, or just re doing it the same...?

I have noticed after looking at a lot of ef/el ghias n 'lanes n ltds that the ef/nf/df leather seems to crack n look much more worn that the el, and not from the age difference lol.
I seen some VERY mint ef's actually, very low kms (ie 60k) n had horrid looking seats.

When it comes to ef id rather the full velour or change to the el style. (all best condit u can get ur hands on obviously)

Good leather seats in a 2nd hand car for sale is a good thing, shows its been looked after imho.

Definately go for the EL leather. I shamefully had EF II ghia leather seats in my last EL and it looked s**t, sometimes
it doesn't even look like leather, nearly vinyl, and that was in pretty good condition.

Not to mention if you go for the EL leather, EL doortrims are better as you get the chrome door handles which the EF lack
and a 'not so orange' fake wood strip that will match the gear shifter surround wood from the EL's. Buy as a set and
save some $$$.

I've got a pick of EL grey ghia leather and EL cappa ltd interior in my gallery if you wanna check it out.

Cheers

[quote="EF_fairmont_guy"]whats leather interior worth???

I bought a leather interior from an EL fairmont Ghia for my EF futura from a wrecker and it cost me $400 for the front and rear seats and another $80 for the door trims. He even took odds and ends from different cars so that I had a perfect set.

but i am in the process of reconditioning the leather, and I am curious to see how much work I gotta do still...

Also I was wondering if their was a difference between the Fairmont Ghia leather and the Fairlane Ghia Leather...

I have seen alot of loose leather, and my is kinda tight....

there is defenetly a difference between fairmont and LTD thou. the LTD has full leather the fairmont is only leather trim so only what you sit on is leather the rest vinal. LTD leather is a lot softer and of a higher grade.
