The issue is that there is not enough demand for venetians in the EF/EL falcons. As a result, there is only one mob that make them (which is the mob on ebay). There is no way that you can find them cheaper, unless one pops up second hand - a very rare occurrence. I spent ages look for one cheaper when I wanted one. In the end, I bit the bullet and bought the one from ebay.

IMO - the reason that they are not popular is that the do not sit well with tinted windows.

As you can see, I have both tinted windows and a venetian. It barely stands out from behind the tint, even though it is white

keep looking on ebay and wreckers, i had the same issue, but about 2-3 months ago one popped up on ebay for NA/NC (which wont fit EA-ED) and i scored it for $50, gave it a coat of paint last week and its now in the lane..

a_total_tool, how did you mount yours? i had no instructions and just screwed the legs into the roof support and trimmed the plastic cover to suit. looks ok in there now but i wasnt sure how your ment to mount it.

also there is 2 companies unless mine is a ford one, as my blind has a cut out for the demister wires where as the ebay ones dont..

Wow those seem like a bunch of very nice cars, any more pictures?

Particularly that fairmont (?) on the left with the wing.

Mine is one of the ebay ones. The verticals have adjustable legs, and fitting it is just a matter of extending the legs so that they sit in place (basically you need to push them into the sealant for the back window for them to grip), and then locking the arms in. The ebay ones so not require any cutting/alterations to the existing panels, and no brackets need to be screwed in.

As for the demister wires, the ebay ones to not have the cutout for them, but the clear the wires anyway. They only have the cutout for the eye-level light, as opposed to the other ones that I have seen that just have the lowest 2 horizontals missing. You do have a clearance between the venetian and the glass, so even if the venetian would go across the demister wires, they would sit in the clearance.

This is a shot of how mine sits and clears the demister wire
