Hey mate :)

it is a lot of f**k around :)

read these
documents.php?d=73
documents.php?d=73

I just did it to my ef fairmont

to do the complete conversion yu will need like
*30-40 metres of wire
*cluster
*4 door ajar sensors (these only in nf nl fairlanes and go in the locking mech of each door)
*fuel tank door sensor
*wiring looms from a fairlane (fairmont falcon etc ones are different!!! well one is same but one is different and fairlane has extra loom plug)

it took me a cpuple of hours to do mine due to running wire to each door and pullin off door trims

yu also have to be a bit electrical minded to do the wiring for everything and the door ajar sensors just run of the earth of the car

but yeh read the documents.

PS ITS THE BEST UPGRADE AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! I LOVE IT IN MY FAIRMONT!!!
and i love wires and all that kinda stuff so i had fun putting it in lol

if i lived close i would do it all for you lol

cheers :)

yeah as the above said except the door loock sensors can be had from any na/nc/nf/nl
I personally upgraded to fairlame doortims and looms in the door and added extra pins to the floor loom side of thing I maybe stripping mine soon which I have done this conversion, was planning to sell it as a setup. for conversion

:)

I have pretty well much turned my EF fairmont into a NL Fairlane..

Ive gotten all the interior out of one..

i even did the EF black switches and changed everything to grey switches and seatbelts etc

ive got the velour woodgrain doortrims but i was also thinking of getting the fairlane seats?

how hard is that you reckon? its just the two outter pieces on the rear seats that are different hey?

hey i been working on the same plan, i got the cluster put in easy just had to muck around with the loom a little,

I did the Woodgrain around the shifter now looking for door trims but i really want the wood from the LTD door trim.

I was thinking about the seats, but the rear i know that the centre seats will fit but the side's are bigger on the fairlane so not sure how you would do that, i thought you could take the fabric off the fairlane seats and put them on the falcon ones but other than that im not sure.

If u find any tricks let me know would be interested to hear them

Thanks
