Hi guys, This is my first post here. Hopefully i put it in the right place and i searched and couldn't find anything related to the issue.

My first car EF 94' has an issue where when i turn on the fan speed it makes a constant "ticking noise" underneath the dash on the passenger side, where i believe the fan is(?).

Just wondering how hard it is to pull out to see if there is anything stuck in it.

Thanks , Russell

Welcome to FordMods and enjoy your stay!

now, back to business in the usual fordmods fashion:
f**k, may be up for a dash removal  so that you can get at the heater box and the fan speed is electrically controlled

probably a leaf in it. under the glovebox there is a flap you can move out of the way and get your hand into the fan area and pull the leaves out. make sure it's turned off first though lol

sort of, take the glvoe box out and you will see a square plastic thing that says 'Open <-- or Close -->' take this out, this is a filter (EF and EL's didnt have this) clean the filter as this is where all the leaves and rubbish sits, and then under this you will see the fan.
