So, Bought an Ef futura. Really good mechanically, good service history. But there was a problem, passenger window only worked sometimes, you had to jiggle the switch alot. I couldn't get it to work and I assume it was the switch.

Pull off the doortrim and there is no mechanicals in there at all, no motor no runners just a piece of 2"x1" wood from top to bottom screwed in.
FFs!
Would I be better off getting a full door?

how could it work sometimes if there was no motor/reg??

no need to change the door, just get a new window motor/reg.. its all one complete unit that can be bolted in..

Exactly what I fn said to him after I found it!
It's not just missing the reg and motor it has no runners or anything in there.

unless you find a door thats the same colour imo its still better to just take all the bits from another door...
unless the car is rough with different panels already, then yea just throw another door on..

It's all one colour so yea, is it difficult to change the entire internals? And ill have to use the old central locking solinoid because they are matched sets?
