Would I be right in saying that EVERY EF Futura released was released with the mid series dash that has the extra gauges ? I ask because I just test drove a EF Series 1 Futura for my nephew and because of my recommendation he has put a deposit on it . I didn't really pay any attention to the dash and I have a bad feeling that it might of had a low series dash in it....Which if true would make the car very unappealing for two obvious reasons.
1. Don't get the extra gauges as standard in all futuras (I think) 2. The odometer will not give an accurate account of how many km's the car has done. If this is the case I think this will be more than enough reason for the deposit from the car yard to be refunded in full due to the legalities involved with misleading customers and tampering. |

Quote: is this correct ? The GLi cluster has provision for the Low Coolant lamp and Low Washer LCD indicator but has no sensors fitted. All models have the High Temp warning lamp.
No reason to think the cluster isn't the original.

Futura had:
Speedo, tacho, fuel and temp gauge. Above the GLi had low coolant sensor. Did not come with low washer fluid light although its easy to hook up because the provisions are there from the factory. |
