This is just a quick search and only one business. But as Daniel says, 2k + for an electric one.

Geez, thats expensive. Especially for a mod which doesnt 'do' anything. I think I might go a non-electric one. 600 aint too bad.
Are there any problems with after market sunroofs, eg: rust, rain, theft?

If you get a good sunroof and goto a decent installer (ie no backyard jobbies unless you trust them or you know what your doing) you should have no porbs with leaks, rust, gaps, wind noise, etc..

It costs roughly 2k for most sunroof options on new car too - wasnt long ago where they cost almost 4k to option on, but things are slightly more realistic now.

After having a car with one, i love them and am willing to pay a decent fee to get the best one possible installed by some reputable people, as some of our other members have - read dcstraight, burchieman and offyaguts for a few names, they seem more than happy.

Im sold. :o

Im quoting brand new rrp prices.
Not shonky off the back of the truck/broken/used/pre owned ebay items.
Amber was lucky to get her sunroof so cheaply and have a husband with some install know-how..
What I quoted is closer to fitted prices too.
If you wanted the cheapest price to make it feel worth while then think of this:
1x pop up sunroof from wrecker out of small written off car = 100 bucks!
1x install = slab of beer with some mates, just measure 2 or 3 times n get some advice before cutting your car up lol!

Goodluck come wintertime.

Now that sounds more in my price range... :D
would the $600 be for the basic pop up models?
