ok guys , ive read the doco on installing hte trip computer i know what to do its all fine. Ive got the computer sitting here ready to go

but
the connecter that plugs into hte trip computer i have to add 3 wires, the end of the wire goes onto a clip that goes into the square thing that plugs into hte computer.
I went to my local Jaycar and hte guys like na i dont have these u will have to open hte computer and change some bulls*&t

does any one know either where to get hte clips, how do it sucessfully without clips.

any help would be appreciated

Thanks everybody

I couldn't find those clips at super cheap either... what i had to do was pull one out of another bit of spare loom that i had and use that one...

I took out the clip with a tiny flat screw driver from the white connecter piece, and then plugged it into my other connected peice.
I hope that helps.

Go to the wrecker and get some spare plugs to practice on (and if successful use the spare pins from the wrecker), do not damage the original loom you will only regret it later, and might cause more problems than its worth...

I got some rolls of the Narva 5 amp automotive wire they sell at Repco and that, I got one red, black and green to use. You don't want the wire to be too thin or it won't stay in place when you jam it in!

let us know how it turns out, mate.
Btw... this might have been asked a few times... but how much do trip computers usually go for? coz i wouldn't mind getting my hands on one.
How much did you get your's for Patty, if you don't mind me asking?
