Doors are pretty much the same lower half as every other door. Its the window frame that differs. So yes, sedan trims will fit on a wagon door. And yes, I have done it. Bolsters are the same. Bases are the same, sedan to wagon. The rear backs are different though. The bracket that attaches the back to the body is much larger in a wagon. Its the same seatback as found in a Fairlane. But its easily swapped over, let me know if you want the instructions. Been there, done that many times. And everything else is a straight swap. If your after a good EF XR interior, I have one that needs to go. Was steam cleaned recently too... And I'll look after ya of course. |

Its only the LWB sedan to SWB/Wagon (and vice versa) interior swaps where the bolsters become an issue.
And I was just getting a free plug in. They arent mine, but are occupying space at my house. So its in my best interest to piss them off ASAP. |

I fitted EL XR interior into my EF. Front seats and door trims fine as said, base of rear seat fine.
For the top half of the rear seat, you will have to remove the covering from your current bolsters and seat backs (not that hard to do, and remove the new coverings off the sedan backs and bolsters and refit. Problem you have with the bolsters is the sedan material only covers the front leaving a messy back when your in the wagon boot - my solution was to build a bigger sub box to hide this lol! for the rears it's just a matter of swapping the materials over as tyhe brackets on the metal framing have a heavy duty pop rivet type thingo holding them in place which would be a C*** to remove and then hard to attach the brackets again. even if your seats backs didn't come with the arm rest in the middle of the rear seat, the bolt holes are there so it's easy to fit. and there are three types of seat backs - SWB sedan, LWB sedan and wagon (all are different as I found out). overall it's not a hard thing to do, just annoiying and fiddly which is the kind of stuff I hate... |

you sure the bolsters are the same? the wagon ones are molded at the back to fit over the plastics and that in the boot. i swear they were different to the sedan ones i had! i might be wrong, but... |
