G'day guys, a little trouble in paradise once again...
While attempting to remove the door trim off the driver's door of my EL Falcon, I've snapped off a red plastic rod thing, which connects the central locking motor/actuator to the door lock knob... The screw in bit is still stuck in the door lock knob, and has snapped just below this. What is this thing called? And where am I able to get another one?? I'd imagine super-gluing it together together won't work too well given the small surface area it has to bond to! Any help please guys?!? :-S |

I think it was the same thing that broke for me in the ED.
Turned out to be a blessing in disguise. It meant I could rest my arm on the top of the door and not lock all the doors + there was still the button next to the steering wheel if I needed to lock/unlock anyway. Just consider it before you go and rush and fix it, I actually loved having it broken
