I cant read my climate control in the day time atm night its fine have i blown a bulb or is this a commen problem

Sounds like the Bulb Behind the LCD, not too hard to replace, but you will have to take the dash surround off to get the CC unit out

Are you sure you need to take off the surround? My CC bulb blew and Bayford replaced it without any mention when they serviced the car.

Same as renewing a bulb in the trip meter/clock, take it off, thats why i havent done mine yet :(

I can never see mine if it is in direct sun light, but I can see it any other time perfectly clear, is that the same problem?

When mine blew it was almost the opposite. You could *just* see it at the right angle if sun was shining on the display, but otherwise it was impossible to see unless it was dark. The display is probably still visible then because it's getting some stray light from the button illumination lamps.

For a while I was setting the outlets by "feel" and setting the temp by pressing down several times to drop to 16, then counting the number of times I pressed up. ;)
