I noticed that the Fairlane had a passenger airbag, however my EL Fairmont doesn't have the cutout for one.
Since I'm hoping to mount a PC in my car I was wondering if anyone knows if the EL dash had the same/similar internal gap/void and if its big enough to fit a Eee PC/mini-ITX motherboard?

I've been meaning to look for myself, but keep getting sidetracked so I figured I'd ask.

Only vehicles with PAB have a void.

Models without have Ducting run straight through the dash where the airbag 'would' be.
They also have a reo to re-inforce it.


Best to get a PAB dash, remove the guts and install the itx in the compartment and use the pab cover as a door.
