Hi there folks I've had a nightmare of a time trying to work out how to remove and now more importantly replace the front driver's door trim on my EL... the two screws for the actual door pull now seem to go into outer space when I try to reattach it... Oh yeah and does anyone know where a bloke can get one of those little red locking rods that attach from the lock to the push button ..

If the screws aren't screwing in to anything, your door trim is obviously not sitting on properly.
