hey guys,

been putting my el back together this weekend, I've gone to install the dash this afternoon and I have a vac line on the right hand side of the car which can reach from there to the other side, and I can't find where it should be plugged into?

Cheers Mitch

If its on the right hand side n reaches as far as the left I'm guessing it goes on the left hand side somewhere, but I'm unsure as to what it connects I've never done a falcon/ fairmont dash

The black coloured vac line on the right hand side of the car loops up over the pedal box and ducks out through the lower A pillar into the right hand mud guard vac reservoir...

At least on the ED it does anyway...

Cheers,
Tim

HAve you tried running a diagnostic. I reckon will show numerous probs.
I don't think mine will work as ecu gets a lot of signals from el loom. I am trying to work it all out at the moment but will take time. Best can think of at the moment is to run a on/off switch for aircon compressor and control it manually.

yeah that's the only thing I don't know if it will acturtly cool the car because I haven't gotten the aircon lines joined or gased yet

Are you using ba or el compressor if you are using ba compressor have you had air con lines made up yet. No one around here wants to do mine.

I am using a ba compressor, I've cut the lines off a ba at the wreckers and just going to get them crimped together, if an airrcon comany won't do it, see if a hydraulic company might
