Hey guys can you help with the AU2 XR8 when you install the brakes for a trailer do they have to run new wires to the rear or do they just go under the dash (like the phone jack ??)

Are u talking about the control unit?

If so 1 wire goes to the plug
and 1 will go to the stoplight switch under your pedal

and also power and negative of course....

depends on the controller, if it's trailer mounted, it uses power from the brake light circuit
