Hi guys,

A little while ago a maate of mine broke the window winder switch on my
EA Fairmont Ghia reear passenger side door, I tried to fix it this weekend gone but unfortunatley everything i did, didnt work, i took the whole door apart, no wires were disconnected, switch seems fine, i think?

Anyone had any similar problems or suggestions in regards to this

It sounds like it's probably just the switch that's damaged, not the wiring. I'd suggest trying a new switch from the wreckers, as long as all the connectors and everything else are intact.

How the hell did he damage it anyway? Did he hit the switch with his fist?

Nah nuff nuff was p****d and decided to get out of the car backwards and he hit his a*** on the switch, must have caught on his jeans and just pulled it out of the mount
