I've had cans of coke explode in my old car and also lighters not Bic's tho

The ones I hate are chocolate in their wrapper... not that fact its distorted, the fact I have to wait 10 mins while i force it in the air vent and wait for the AC to make it eatable again.

=D

i think your dreaming. it says on the can to store in a cool place - the inside of a car is certainly not.
exactly.. a cars interior in 30 degree heat with all the windows up DOES NOT equal a "cool/dry environment"... your lucky it was only the grill and speaker... could have been a front window!

they say store below 50 degerss which im sure it would of been.

Now if it was like gros20 said below 50 deg and it says so on the can bfhoon could be on to somthing.

i posted this reply but i deleted it.

i used to work at lever rexona northrocks i have a background in lab testing and have seen tests done on lynx cans and others.

at 60 degrees they are supposed to vent out the spray valve safely, it seems the primary safety valve has failed and the secondary safety mechanism has worked. the seam seal is constructed so as to let go at high preassure being a softer metal at the neck of the can from the forging process.

in the pic you can see the neck has let go before the can exploded leaving metal fragments embedded in your arms and legs.

I had to remove the grills on mine anyway because the speaker cones were hitting at high volumes.
