Check the trading post first especially if you have a pre-au vehicle. I was quoted around $150-200 second hand and got one for $50 with 120,00km on it. Luckly it was for a mate if i blew my au dash iwouldnt wanna know ho wmuch it would cost :x

Thats why I have given the Dash mod a wide berth. I am not to confident to do it and its only a fricken cosmetic gain too. Whoopee doo that your dials glow the Fricken colours of the Rainbow.

I agree if your not comfortable doing it then give it the toss aside; but it does look pretty nice when done properly - not like a dodgy backyard colour change you see in SO many old s**t cars.

I had it done to my old fairlane, cbf doing anything to this one, wouldnt suit cappa neway.
Get help doing it or toss it in.

All I can say is LED globes...solution to everything.

I suggest that Chunkz instead of actual LEDs if your not confident. I did and I love it. Easy as well.

Stuff LED's. Why don't people do the easy and most simple mod of just changing the filter card instead? There's only three and it saves having to worry about polarity of LED's going in if you're not familiar with electronics.

have a look down there.. its pretty simple.. join resistor to LED usually a 560ohm one. attach one to one metal bit and the other to the other.. (i think the leg with the resistor went to the piece of metal at the front)
