I have a 09 FG xr6t ute and the previous owner installed some F6 leather seats into it. Which is great apart from the airbag fault codes I now get. As far as I can tell the harness under the seats would of had a seat side curtain airbag bridge plug in it originally ( as this isn't a side airbag vehicle). Whats there now is the side airbag plug. The system sees this as a fault and throws code relating to it.
Has anyone had experience putting a certain ohm resistor in or replacing the bridge plug and does that remove the fault code?
Would all non side airbag FGs have that plug?

In my limited experience with airbag systems i would say fitting the bridge plug should fix the problem, its worth a shot they shouldn't cost too much at a wrecker or pocket a part the bridge plug actually has a resistor in it
