Ok my floor mats slide up when ever someone sits in the front of the car. Have you guys found a way to get them to not move anywhere? I know there are the clip things that the newer cars have but i dont so any help would be great

You should be able to buy the clips, I still have the unopened packet of them from when my car was delivered new. Try some car shops, or ask Ford.

On this note, does anybody know where to get fitted mats that don't have the spikes on the bottom?

Velcro should work fine as long as it holds it in place you'll be sweet. Had the same problem when i first got my car, the mats would slide all over the place, what a f**k nuisance they are lol. Went and got a set of custom tailor made mats made up all round hehe one of the best interior mods ive done so far, they never move, has a rough anti slip backing which really grips into the carpet and they look mint

So they don't have the spikes on the bottom? I just don't want that as it seems to really f**k the carpet.

Protecta mat in Perth are really good for fitted floor mats. They make the dash mats that you see for sale in Repco stores.

Nope, no spikes. Just a rough kind of rubbery material. Grips the carpet real well and fits real well. Got them to put one of those button type clips in the outside bottom corners to clip into the fittings i have mounted where the seats are although i didnt need them at all the as anti slip backing works so good. Ill put pics up tommorrow so you guys know what i mean

got these made by a guy who works at the local markets on a sunday morning.. Any colour carpet and any colour stitching with your choice of embroidery. not bad for $120

they have a foam backing on them causing them stay in the one spot, that, and they are perfectly moulded for the car

Looks real good Kwik. I need to find some in that kind of style. Or buy the ones with the spikes and cut them all off, because they are nice mats otherwise and cheap too. $60 for fitted very thick mats.
