Howdy, just wonderd how much am i looking at a complete set of ED fairmont interior seats from the wreckers that are in good condition no rips, stains or cigarette burns and how hard are they to swap the futura seats for the fairmont seats instead. i look foward to your reply. also how hard and how lond does it take to put all the fairmont doors with electric windows in the futura models including the main console switch board ( thats swappind the windup futura doors with electric window fairmont doors. please i need the cost of the good ED

Your best bet might be to ring up a few wreckers and find out.
I'd say maybe a few hundred dollars, but i'm not too sure.

Well, from my experience, try a self serve wrecker as you get the parts cheaper (you take them off, spending your time, thus its cheaper as no one is paid to remove them) and you know what you are getting as you can view the part and if the parts all come from the same car, the parts have even wear.

I managed to install full velour trim (just like in that picture) into an EB 2 s pack Falcon.

My mate and I paid $36 for the four door trims, $72 for a pair of bucket seats and $50 for the rear seat complete.

The seats fit no worries - complete change over.

The door trims needed holes amde for the manual winders and eventually fit.

It took just under two hours with us both working on it - torx bolts were removed, all parts removed and trimming of holes in door trims, and fitting of velour panels and seats and console all took time.

The car looks wonderful inside, even the addition of an EB 2 Fairmont console with a blank out panel for the power windows looks good as you gain the rear courtesy light.

Ive got the door trims if you want.

As for the power windows, it will be easy if the car already has the main body loom wiring. My ED did so I would think your Futura would too.
Then all you would need to install is the door wiring, as the plugs will already be there.
To check if you have the main loom, look underneath the centre console, there should be a wide clear yellowish plug (it may be tucked under the carpet area) This is for the main switch.

Its a fairly big job doing the window conversion, and the Ford electric windows arnt the most reliable. I think you can get new aftermarket ones for about $100 each.

ive got tthe full interior sitting in the garge already pulled out in good cond if u are still interested just located in quakers hill syd

the aftermarket ones are an exact swap for the factory units, so yeh it will all wire up no worries. they plug straight in to the door harness.
