Hi all,
So I have an 09 FG XR6 ute with leather seats. Recently I started noticing that my driver's seat creaks coming around corners and it can get quite loud. I've heard that this is a common problem with the FG Falcs but I was wondering if anyone knows if it is a problem specific to the leather seats or if it happens with cloth seats as well?? Cheers |

Firstly look under the seats and check the seat bases are not broken. Common on B series so im assuming F series are similar.

Ok I'll give it a look. If the seat base is broken is that easy to fix? I've heard that the noise can be something to do with the hight adjuster motor but the motor sits near the back of the seat and the creaking is coming from the top right corner every time body leans on it going around right hand turn.

It's not just a leather seat issue, my cloth seats in my FG XR do it too, drives me nuts, did you end up finding what was causing yours?
