well, the first real Q in here!
i've got meself a DF LTD interior... but the trims are cappa... can i get them dyed to the stock grey? i.e. the door vinals? any ideas if this is possible, and ideas on costs? cheers!

Yeah I think VHT (?) make a Vinyl spray or die that should do the trick.
You have to make sure it is completely clean, so lots of Wax and Grease remover first! I think the stuff permanantly changes the colour of the vinyl, rather than just painting it too... |

My post IS relevant check it out again! 2. yes. yes they can be dyed Grey, but I don't know how grey would come out over the top of the 2 tone cappa. refer to an auto-trimmer for more. The plastics can be dyed, and the fabrics can either be dyed or you can re-trim them in the colour you want. |

hehe... ok - i'll give it credit as a real post then
well, i'd rather get a trimmer to do it first off, as i dont want to risk screwing it up. i'd keep the fabric, as it will help match in the seats that i'm going to put in. so its just the actual trim i want dyed. i assume it wouldn't be too hard/expensive a job? anyone know of someone who has done something like this before?

Theres a guy in Muswellbrook that does this sort of thing, from what ive heard he does a very good job, ill try to find him and get back to you.

You would be better off swapping the trims with someone who does have grey trims, as cappa trims are fairly rare.
