Hi ppl,
I had the saftey hook attachemnt thing removed from my EF when the 16:9' speakers were fitted.
Now some 7 years down the track, I have a baby who cant travel in the EF as its lacking this harnes point. (It was just next to the speaker)

My question is - there is a plastic cap covering a hole right in the middle of the parcel shelf (just near the back of the seat)
Is that a provision to add another harness point?

Any info would be great ......

yeah it is ... they came out with 1 restraint harness and then on the other side a place for a second one to be fitted! Pull that plastic thing out and you have a threaded hole you can bolt in a restraint clip!

95% sure you can fir the harness point to the middle. That's all the cap seems to cover so i can't imagine it being a problem. see if the harness point fits into the hole securely, if it does you should be OK.

Read your owners manual - that will tell you where the harness points are!

Yer pretty close mate.

Might wanna be careful with who you tell about that one... pretty sure 3 restraint points are an ADR requirement....

But the middle one will be fine for keeping bubs safe!

Thanks for the offer, but fortunatley - my son is a good little boy. When he's in the car - he is as quiet as can be... Might take up the offer in a few years tho.... who knows what he will be like when he can talk>??

If you have only one child it is recommended to put in middle. Takes away heaps of storage space but they recommend that in case of side impact.
