I need a few doors for the EB and I want to buy the ones off the EB ghia that is being wrecked so I was wondering how much effort it is going to be to put a manual window winder in the doors? Is it worth the effort? do I have to change everything? I am getting both drivers side doors so would like to know about the front and rear door.

yeah, you'll need to swap over the trims but everything else is pretty much bolt on bolt off.

i know when we did the power window conversion on my old ef, we had to cut through some rivets, dunno if they are the same in the earlier e series cars... didnt take too long but was a pain in the a** all the same.

naa piece of pie mate... drill out some rivets, fit the manual regulaters and your original door trims, or drill holes in the new trims and your set.. or buy 2 more electric window regs and wire up electric windows

if the window motors have been replaced before, they will more than likely have screws instead of rivets.
if it still has rivets, just drill the heads off them, and punch them out. pull it all out, swap your gear around. find 3 screws/bolts to bolt it back in and your set. you may have to fiddle around with the adjustment of the window but it won't take ya long.

Check under your centre console to see if you have the body wiring for the windows, should be an empty wide yellow plug under there.
If youve got that then all you need is the high series door wiring, which plug into the existing plugs.
