Done a search and basically a new dash with airbag has been found.
EF series 2 and El have wire already there.
But EF 1 does not.
A search said to make new loom to airbag ECU Ok can live with that.
Question is.
Will the EF 1 airbag ECU run 2 airbags??
Is there a "resistor" near the ECU to act as an airbag???
Do I have to make the loom into the airbag ECU??

I've done this.

EF2 has loom to the PAB.
EF1 has partial loom at the airbag ECU with a blanking resistor.

Run 2 wires from the resistor holder/connector then to the PAB.

I removed an EF1 dash with a PAB and it had connector inside the existing loom, with the same sideways ecu. (ef2 is mounted different).

should be a case of plumbing it.

All EF/EL Airbag systems support 2 airbags.

Yes, look for a 2ohm resistor on a loom not far from the Airbag module (this will be somewhere behind and upwards from the inside fusebox).
Cut off the resistor and plug, and solder some twin core, and run it over to the glovebox area, solder the plug back on - remove the resistor, should plug into your PAB (plug should be same as the steering wheel airbag).
