I havent done the full dash out job but judging by how hard the radio surround and cd player were to take off I imagine the whole dash would be a nighmare. Centre console is easy its only where it joins to the dash I think.

You need to remove the radio first (there are special tools you need, they are 2 U shaped prongs) and there are 3 screws from memory to take out.
Just make sure you have the radio code before you disconnect it.

When prising the centre dash cover away make sure you have a piece of rag behind the screwdriver to get it away from the dash, there are about 6 spring loaded clips.

Hi Mate,

Above post is correct, but there are 4 screws. One screw either side of the deck and two behind the ash tray. Then unplud the cables goin to the clock (If your model has one) and unplug the cable going to the demister switch and then the dials. Turn the heater dial all the way to hot once its been unclipped and it will give you a bit more room to unplug the cables.

If you need advice on how to paint it let me know.

Hope this helps,
